The Calm Before the Storm…
Today was a little bit of a lazy day…We got a late start on the day (we slept in a bit), but I think I made up for it by going for a solid run at about 10:15am. I went all around the outside edge of the community…I did two laps of my route, each lap being about 4.25km. Anyway, I`m sure that you don`t really care about my run…
Today was a pretty chill day for us. We made pancakes for breakfast and I spent some time reading. I have finally finished my book about the Somalian, Sudanese and Rwandan conflicts (it was a great read, but challenging…it was kind of like reaching the top of a mountain when I finished it yesterday) and just started a book by James Patterson called Along Came a Spider (I am 115 pages in already, it is a significantly more lesiurely read). In the afternoon we put in a good 3-4 hours of prep for camp, as it finally gets underway on Monday. It is kind of crazy that it is finally getting started. We`ve spent the better part of the last two months gearing up to run camp, and now it is finally happening. We`ll see how it all turns out…
Anyway, I don`t really have a lot to say right now, so I think I`m going to stop typing, but do take a look at the new pictures that I have posted. There are some good ones I think.
